KEHOE-FRANCE BLAST FINISHES SECOND IN CRESCENT CITY DISTANCE SWIM MEET
Paced by very strong performances
by Jesi Kopcso, Zack Knudsen and Robert Klazynski, the Kehoe-France Northshore BLAST Swim Team raced to a second place finish out of five teams at the Crescent City Swim Club Short Course Distance Meet held Saturday, February 4 at St. Martin’s Thanksgiving Pool in Metairie.

Kopcso placed sixth in the Mixed Open 200 backstroke, seventh in the Mixed Open 200
breaststroke and 11th in the Mixed Open 500 freestyle in leading the BLAST with 31 points. Her 200 Back time was also a team record.
Knudsen placed fifth in the 200 breast and ninth in the 500 free. His 200 breast time was also a team record.
Klazynski placed eighth in the Mixed Open 1650 and tenth in the Mixed Open 200 back.
Also scoring for the BLAST were Alex Knudsen, eighth in the Mixed Open 200 back,
Alissa Winkler, ninth in the Mixed Open 200 back, and Beth Winkler 11th in the Mixed Open 200 back.
Also swimming for the BLAST was Katie Fearn who swam the Mixed Open 500 freestyle.
The BLAST’S next meet is the BTAC Mardi Gras meet Feb. 10 – 12 at LSU.
