BLAST FINISHES SECOND PLACE AT CCSC MEET
The Kehoe-France Northshore BLAST Swim Team finished second in the Crescent City
Swim Club Christmas Meet held at St. Martin’s School Pool on Friday and Saturday,
December 16 & 17.

The BLAST was led by strong performances turned in by their 8 & under swimmers who
led the team in scoring.
Grant Gallaspy led the team with 138 points, had four first place swims [8 & under 50 free, 100 IM, 25 back, 25 breast], one second [12 & under 50 back]
and two thirds [12 & under 50 breast and 50 free].
Harrison Prieto was runner up for
team high point with 118 points on the strength of three second place finishes [8 & under
50 free, 25 fly and 25 back] and two third places [8 & under 100 IM and 12 & under 50 back]. 

Other event winners were: Alex Salles [8 & under boys 25 free], Griffin Guzan [8 & under boys 25 fly] and girls high point scorer Grace Tucker [8 & under girls 25 backstroke]. Tucker also had three second place finishes [25 breast, 25 free and 100 IM].
Other swimmers scoring in the top three in individual events were: Zachary Boudreaux
[second, 11-12 boys 100 fly], Guzan [second, 100 IM, third, 25 back], Kristen Jennings
[second, 9-10 girls 200 IM, third, 10 & under 50 free], Robert Klazynski [third, 11-12
boys 100 fly], Zach Knudsen [second, Boys Open 100 breast], Alex Salles [third, 25 fly],
Emmie Salles [second, 9-10 girls 100 breast], Gianni Scramuzza [third, 9-10 boys 100 free and 12 & under 50 fly], Jessica Sloan [third, 9-10 girls 100 back and 100 fly], Brooke Vinturella [third, 9-10 200 IM], Allison Warwick [second, 11-12 girls 50 free,
third, 100 back] and Hope Winkler [third, 8 & under girls 25 fly].
Other swimmers who swam and scored for the team were: Claire Battle, Amanda Boe,
Carley Boyce, Gavin Breaux, Macie Breaux, Alex Cloutet, Jack Copes, Caroline
Gallaspy, Emily Prieto, Callie Tucker, Will Warwick and Beth Winkler.
Five swimmers recorded 100% best times: Amanda Boe, Jessica Sloan, Beth Winkler,
Allison Warwick and Will Warwick.
